The Abstraction
For years I pursued photography perfection. I used the sharpest lenses, sharpest film, and a sturdy tripod to keep my world steady. Now, as my photography world has changed, so has my idea of what a good photograph is. Turns out seeking perfection only made blind to the imperfect. Imperfection is beautiful. Photography is about creativity and expression. Sometimes the best way to express what you see is to just press the shutter and see what happens. Sometimes I just listen to what the camera is telling me and not even look at what Iām capturing. Sometimes what happens is magic even though it happened by mistake.
